FIRE
For the fire you should use a yarn that isn’t cotton – wool or acrylic would be best. I used the colors dark red, yellow and orange. Grab a strand of each yarn color and wrap them around your hand. I added more yellow strands. Cut it on one side. With a piece of the dark red yarn tie the middle of the strands.
Cut the sides of the fire to match the picture.
Untangle every strand in order to make the fire easily brushable.
Get something hard for support (like a book or a cutting board) and brush the fire with a dog brush.
Sew the fire to the mouth using the dark red strands.
ASSEMBLY
Sew the head to the body like this
Sew the arms with a little bit of fiberfill in the base.If needed put more fiberfill in the body in order to shape the amigurumi.
Sew the claw to the toe.
Sew the toes (with a little bit of fiberfill) to the legs.
Sew the legs to the body.
Put some fiberfill in the tail and sew it to the body.
Sew the curved ears on the dark red part of the head.
Sew the wings like in the picture.
Sew the spikes in the middle of the body. There should be 5 spikes on the head and 3 spikes on the tail.
Use some pins to specify where the ridges of the head should be.
With the yarn needle for sewing sew the ridges of the dragon on both sides. Keep the ridges as straight as possible.
Grab the crochet hook and make sc in every stitch starting from the dark red part of the head.
When you get to the end turn and make sc in every st in the other direction. The last sc should be next to the dark red part of the head.
Place the pins to help you form the eyes of the dragon.
Using white yarn embroider the white part of the eye.
Using the black yarn make the pupil and outline the eye like in the picture.
