LEGS
Start with yellow yarn.
R1: magic circle with 6st (6)
R2: inc around (12)
R3: *sc, inc* repeat around (18)
R4-5: sc around (18)
R6: sc in the next 3st, dec 6 times, sc in the next 3st (12)
R7-15: sc around (12)
Slip stitch and fasten off at the end of the first leg but don’t fasten off at the end of the second leg, because we are going to proceed crocheting.
BODY
At the end of Round 15 on the 2nd leg, put sc in each of the next 6 stitches. This is important because you need the legs straight when you join them. Round 16 joins the legs together and starts the body part.
R16: chain 1 and make a sc on the other leg. It’s important that the legs face the same direction. Make sc in all stitches around the leg and when you get to the chain make a sc in the st. sc in the remaining stitches of the next leg and sc again on the chain (you will have sc on both sides of the chain) (26)
This round completes the join now and it’s where the next round begins.
Put some stuffing in the legs, but do not fill them to the brim.
R17-18: sc around (26)
R19: sc in the next 12st, change to white and sc in the next 2st, change to yellow and sc in the next 12st (26)
R20: sc in the next 11st, change to white and sc in the next 4st, change to yellow and sc in the next 10st (26)
R21-25: sc in the next 10st, change to white and sc in the next 6st, change to yellow and sc in the next 9st (26)
R26: sc in the next 11st, change to white and sc in the next 4st, change to yellow and sc in the next 10st (26)
R27: sc in the next 12st, change to white and sc in the next 2st, change to yellow and sc in the next 12st (26)
R28: *sc in the next 3st, dec* repeat around, sc in the last st (21)
R29: sc around (21)
Stuff the legs and body firmly but consider that we are going to keep crocheting so don’t overstuff it.
HEAD
R30: “sc in the next 2st, dec”, put sc in the last st (16)
R31: sc around (16)
R32: *sc, inc* (24)

R1: magic circle with 6sc (6)
R2: inc around (12)
R3-4: sc around (12)
Change to yellow yarn
R5: “sc in the 4st, dec” (10)
R6-17: sc around (10)
Ss and f/o. Put a small amount of fiberfill in the hand part of the arms.
Sew the arms two rows below the head.
EARS
Use yellow yarn.
R1: magic circle with 8sc (8)
R2-3: sc around (8)
R4: “sc, inc” (12)
R5: sc around (12)
R6: “sc in the next 2st, inc” (16)
R7-15: sc around (16)
R16: “sc in the next 2st, dec” (12)
Fold the ears in half as pictured below and SC across the top to close, fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing (this creates a curved ear and will help the ear to be sturdy).
Sew the ears onto the head, and place them evenly apart. The ears should be sewn on 3rd or 4th row. I sewed them on the 3rd row.
MOUTH
Use pink yarn for the mouth.
